Storybook Baby Shower

Who doesn’t love a good book? And what better way to help someone start a collection for their little one than throwing them a storybook themed baby shower!?

Attendees brought an appetizer along with a favorite childhood book.

The K centerpiece represented the baby’s name and gave a little glitz to the table. For a tutorial on how it was made, click here.

For the Advice, Prayers and Well Wishes box we used a large hallowed “book”, the decorative kind you can find at Michael’s or JoAnne’s. A quick Google search brought up an image of a library card which was printed several times for attendees to write their message on.

The card box was found at Michaels and the small banner was put together with twine, burlap, and a print out of the word BOOKS.

The table runner was a lot of fun to make and went perfectly with the theme! Click here for a tutorial.

This cake was amazing! By far the best one I’ve ever made. It does take some patience but it is well worth it in the end! Click here for the recipe.
