Find Your Fall Color Scheme

Fall is right around the corner, do you have your color scheme picked out yet? I’ve always been pretty traditional and lean towards a lot of orange, reds and browns. I find this mix to be very warm and welcoming. Now that I live in California, these colors are crucial to have around. The warm weather, green grass and palm trees just don’t scream fall. Since I can’t control the weather, I’m going to make sure that my home is a fall wonderland!

Whether you haven’t decided on a fall color scheme, are thinking about trying something new or are looking for new pieces to add to your current one, I’ve rounded up eight different color scheme options to give you plenty of inspiration! Creamy Fall Color Scheme

Something about light creamy colors says sophistication to me. Perhaps this is because I grew up in a big family and nothing stayed white for long. If you had a white couch, you had your life together! While cream isn’t a traditional fall color, you can see how by adding dried pampas, a knit blanket and wood accents creates the feeling of warmth and coziness in the home that’s perfect for fall.

Cream & Brown Sugar Fall Color Scheme

A mix of creams and browns gives a welcoming earthy tone. Throw a few blankets on a ladder or in wicker basket, place dried pampas or brown eucalyptus in pottery vases, place wicker pumpkins on the mantel, then sit back on your couch and take in the warmth by flickering candlelight.

Blue & Cream Fall Color Scheme

This collection of blues and creams is definitely fairytale approved! If we could see Cinderella’s castle during the fall, I have no doubt in my mind it would look something like this.

Burgundy & Cream Fall Color Scheme

Burgundy is one of my favorite colors. I’ve always associated this color more with Christmas though and haven’t sought out to incorporate it into my fall decorating in the past. After putting this board together though I may have to add some burgundy pieces in this year.

Sage & Cream Fall Color Scheme

This color scheme says costal to me. If you love the beach then I think you’ll love this sea foam green fall theme. It really goes to show that you can think outside the box and still represent fall.

Orange Warmth Fall Color Scheme

This is the color board my home lives in! Orange everywhere with a few splashes of cream, wood accents, and framed sayings is where I live. This color scheme just screams fall to me and I can’t wait to start decorating!

Navy & Orange Fall Color Scheme

I’ve been seeing a lot of orange and navy pop up together recently. I never would have put these two colors together but then again I’m not expert on decor. I don’t think I’ll be adding navy blue to my fall decor this year but who knows what will happen in the future.

Burgundy & Orange Fall Color Scheme

The more I worked on this board, the more I really liked this color combination. Both are very bold colors but compliment each other well. The richness of the colors feels so warm and welcoming. Again, I’m going to have to rethink the lack of burgundy in my current fall decor collection.
