In case you were looking for a reason to invite the besties over, assemble a charcuterie board, and get a little creative, you’re in the right place! Just imagine, the windows cracked open, a soft breeze rolling in, a cozy spread to snack on, and the kind of laughter that lingers long after the night ends. Now imagine adding a craft to that cozy, joy-filled evening that’s not only beautiful in the moment… but becomes something you’ll treasure long after.
That’s exactly what this pressed flower jar project is.
It’s creative, it’s unique, and surprisingly easy. And it’s the kind of DIY that makes everyone at the table say, “Wait… I actually love this.”
Let’s dive into how to turn a simple glass jar into a dreamy, spring-inspired piece of decor you’ll want to make again and again.

At its core, this project is a mod-podged glass jar decorated with pressed flowers. But describing it that simply doesn’t quite do it justice.
Picture this: soft pink petals, delicate greenery, and tiny floral details layered onto glass, sealed with a glossy finish that catches the light just right. It feels like bottling up spring itself.
Why it’s perfect for a girl’s spring night:
And honestly? It’s one of those crafts where the process is just as enjoyable as the finished product.
Before you gather your friends, here’s everything to have on hand:

If you can believe it, these jars actually came from Dollar Tree! They were the perfect size for this craft, and I loved the gold and rope detailing. I also managed to find small bottles of Mod Podge, foam brushes, and tea lights while I was there. Not only was this craft inexpensive, but it was also easy to gather most of the supplies in a single trip. Right next door was my favorite place to get lost in, Hobby Lobby! This is where I found the paper plates I put the jars on and the small bowls that held the Mod Podge. Next, I turned to Amazon, where I found the pressed flower packs, which were absolutely perfect for this girls’ night craft. I ordered two sets, which were plenty for myself and six friends with some left over.
Before everyone arrived, I had each place set up with the supplies they would need. This included a paper plate with the jar on top. (Trust me, you don’t want to put a jar with wet Mod Podge down on your tablecloth!) There was also a bowl with Mod Podge and a foam brush next to it. I scattered the sheets of pressed flowers and greenery around the table so everyone could pick and choose what they’d like on their jar. I didn’t have enough tweezers for everyone, which worked out because a lot of us just used our hands to delicately pick up everything. Scissors came in hand to trim pieces that were too long. When everyone was done, and the Mod Podge was dry, I went around with a mod podge sealer.
Everyone had a great time making their own unique jar and taking some time to relax and catch up with friends. I absolutely love hosting and can’t wait for the next girls’ night!

After your girls’ spring night wraps up, everyone will have a beautiful piece of decor to take home with them.
