Book Page Table Runner

I found this idea on Pinterest and knew it would be perfect for the Storybook Baby Shower I was throwing! I don’t remember the pinner I found this from, other wise I would direct you to their board. Don’t you hate when you forget to save a pin?

It was very simple to make. Most of the materials I already had. For the book, I went to Half Price Books and found it in the clearance section for $3! You can choose any book you’d like to go with your theme. I chose this book because I wanted pages with just text so that the table runner didn’t distract from the other decorations on the table.

Materials

Paper cutter (scissors will work too, I’m just terrible at cutting in a straight line)
Book
Decorative edged scissors
Double sided tape

Instructions

1. Tear pages out of the book.
2. Slice the bottom of the page off, just above the page number.
3. Run a strip of double sided tape along the right edge of the page.
4. Press your second page down over this strip.
5. Run a Strip of double sided tape along the top of the page.
6. Press your third page down over this strip to cover the book title on the page.
7. Repeat these steps until you’ve reached your desired length.
8. Cut down the sides of the runner with the decorative edged scissors.
